REIMBURSEMENT SERVICE FACILITATED BY

VERSION 1.4
We provide up to a 100% reimbursement of your booking value minus our Travel Protection fee if an adverse weather event involving rain or snow should occur up to 2 days prior to Your Arrival date or during Your Stay that prevents You from Attending or completing Your Booking. In addition, You have up to 30 days after Your departure date to apply for Your reimbursement. Picture Evidence of the adverse weather event involving rain or snow will be verified using recent and historical data from the National Weather Service (using NOAA) and is required for Your reimbursement.

Our Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow is not an insurance policy. It is an extension of Our standard Terms & Conditions of sale and trade. These enhanced Terms & Conditions are intended to help You better plan for Your trip and minimize the potential negative weather impacts on your experience. 
You purchase an upgrade to Our standard policies to include the following defined circumstances as outlined below:
OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS REIMBURSES YOU FOR
PROOF REQUIRED
RAIN LASTING 2 OR MORE HOURS PER DAY DURING YOUR STAY AT THE PROPERTY

If a Rain Weather Event lasts more than 2 hours per day during Your Stay date during the hours of 8:00 am to 8 pm, You are eligible for a reimbursement.

If the Rain Weather Event lasts 2-4 hours You will receive a 50% reimbursement of that day's Booking Value.

If the Rain Weather Event lasts more than 4 hours You will receive a 100% reimbursement of that day's Booking Value.

PICTURE OF THE RAIN WEATHER EVENT WITH THE DATE AND TIME OF THE INCIDENT


The Picture of the Rain Weather Event must include a self portrait of You or a member of Your traveling group with either live rain or signs of moisture caused by rain including wet structures, ground, etc. at Your Booking site location. 

The Picture of the Rain Weather Event must include the date and time the photo was taken. This information will be verified by Us using National Weather Service (using NOAA) data.

We also accept Pictures or Screen Captures of local weather alert notifications sent to Your smartphone.

OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS DOES NOT REIMBURSE FOR THE FOLLOWING
We DO NOT reimburse You for a Rain Weather Event that lasts less than 2 hours per day. We DO NOT reimburse You for a Rain Weather Event if the affected person is not in the travel group Attending the Booking. 

We DO NOT reimburse if You choose not to attend because You are concerned about a Rain Weather Event.

OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS REIMBURSES YOU FOR

HURRICANE AND TROPICAL STORM WEATHER EVENT NEAR THE PROPERTY


If You or a member of Your traveling group are unable to attend Your Booking 2 days or fewer before Your Arrival date due to a Hurricane or Tropical Storm Weather Event that will impact the property site including the surrounding 50 mile radius of Your Booking, You are eligible for a reimbursement.

In addition, if You or a member of Your traveling group experience a Hurricane or Tropical Storm Weather Event that prevents You from completing Your Booking once You have arrived at the property, We will reimburse You a prorated portion of Your Booking if You need to leave before Your Departure date.

We also accept Pictures or Screen Captures of local weather alert notifications sent to Your smartphone.

OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS DOES NOT REIMBURSE FOR THE FOLLOWING

We DO NOT reimburse You for a Hurricane or Tropical Storm Weather Event if the affected person is not in the travel group Attending the Booking.

We DO NOT reimburse You if the Hurricane or Tropical Storm Weather Event occurred more than 2 days before Your Arrival date and did not directly impact the property site or the surrounding 50-mile radius of Your Booking.

We DO NOT reimburse You for a Hurricane or Tropical Storm Weather Event if the affected person is not in the travel group Attending the Booking.

We DO NOT reimburse You if the Hurricane or Tropical Storm Weather Event occurred more than 2 days before Your Arrival date and did not directly impact the property site or the surrounding 50-mile radius of Your Booking.

BLIZZARD OR OTHER SEVERE WINTER STORM WEATHER EVENT THAT CLOSES THE ROADS NEAR THE PROPERTY

If You or a member of Your traveling group are unable to attend Your Booking on Your Arrival date due to a Blizzard or other Severe Winter Storm Weather Event that closed the roads to the property site including the surrounding 50-mile radius of Your Booking, You are eligible for a reimbursement.

In addition, if You or a member of Your traveling group experience a Blizzard or other Severe Winter Storm Weather Event that prevents You from completing Your Booking once You have arrived at the property, We will reimburse You a prorated portion of Your Booking if You need to leave before Your Departure date.

OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS DOES NOT REIMBURSE FOR THE FOLLOWING
We DO NOT reimburse You for a Blizzard or Winter Storm Weather Event if the affected person is not in the travel group Attending the Booking.

We DO NOT reimburse You if the Blizzard or Winter Storm Weather Event did not directly impact the property site or the surrounding 50-mile radius of Your Booking with road closures.

OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS REIMBURSES YOU FOR

BLIZZARD OR OTHER SEVERE WINTER STORM WEATHER EVENT THAT CLOSES THE ROADS NEAR THE PROPERTY


If You or a member of Your traveling group are unable to attend Your Booking on Your Arrival date due to a Blizzard or other Severe Winter Storm Weather Event that closed the roads to the property site including the surrounding 50 mile radius of Your Booking, You are eligible for a reimbursement.

In addition, if You or a member of Your traveling group experience a Blizzard or other Severe Winter Storm Weather Event that prevents You from completing Your Booking once You have arrived at the property, We will reimburse You a prorated portion of Your Booking if You need to leave before Your Departure date.

OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS DOES NOT REIMBURSE FOR THE FOLLOWING

We DO NOT reimburse You for a Blizzard or Winter Storm Weather Event if the affected person is not in the travel group Attending the Booking.

We DO NOT reimburse You if the Blizzard or Winter Storm Weather Event did not directly impact the property site or the surrounding 50-mile radius of Your Booking with road closures.

Additional Reimbursement Terms and Conditions of Our Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow
  • Any reason for a reimbursement must not have been known or reasonably foreseeable more than 2 days prior to Your Arrival date or through the end of Your Departure date depending on the nature of your reimbursement request.

  • We DO NOT reimburse You if Your Booking is no longer wanted or needed by Yourself.
 
  • We will not pay a reimbursement where Your Booking is canceled or postponed by Us due to a government shutdown, act of terrorism, pandemic, adverse weather condition that does not involve rain or snow, tornado, wildfire, or other acts of God that prevents Us from providing Our services.
  • We DO NOT reimburse for poor air quality due to wildfires. We DO NOT classify wildfires as a Weather Event.  
  • We DO NOT reimburse for Adverse Weather Events that do not involve rain or snow.
       

  • You must take all reasonable precautions or make reasonable alternate arrangements to prevent or reduce any reimbursement requests.
 
  • You will be asked to provide supporting proof or evidence such as a Picture or Screenshot at Your own expense, and a copy of the Booking confirmation; We DO NOT issue refunds where You cannot provide a Picture or Screenshot or where We cannot verify the weather of that date using the National Weather Service (using NOAA).
 
  • The maximum reimbursement value per person cannot exceed the total cost of the Booking. The maximum Booking value reimbursed by Us is $5,000 USD per Booking. The maximum Booking value reimbursed for a group Booking is $5,000 USD.
  • Reimbursements will be paid out using any of the following payment options including, but not limited to: credit card reimbursement, gift certificate reimbursement, check, or direct ACH bank deposit. 
  • We DO NOT reimburse the Travel Protection Service Fee.  
  • Our Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service reserves the right to modify or terminate these Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions generally or in any jurisdiction, at any time, in its sole discretion, if: (a) the Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions are construed to be an offer to insure or constitute insurance or an insurance contract or insurance service agreement by any governmental or regulatory authority in any jurisdiction; (b) the Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Service is construed to be a futures, option, swap, or other instrument regulated by any governmental or regulatory authority or court in any jurisdiction; (c) Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service is required to obtain a license or permit of any kind to continue to provide the Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Service in any jurisdiction; or (d) if Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service determines or a court or arbitrator holds that the provisions of the Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Service violate applicable law. If Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service modifies or terminates these Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions in accordance with the foregoing, the Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service will process all warranty payment requests that You submitted prior to or as of the effective date of such modification or termination unless such processing is prohibited by law, regulation, ordinance, order, or decree of any governmental or other authority. To the extent You have not made a request for an eligible warranty payment prior to the effective date of modification or termination, or the Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Service cannot otherwise be provided or processed as a result of the foregoing, the Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration will refund you the amounts actually paid for the Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions.
Other incidents where reimbursements will not be provided:
We DO NOT reimburse for non-Attendance of a Booking directly or indirectly associated with:
  • war, hostilities, civil commotion, imprisonment, repatriation, deportation, poisonous biological materials, radioactivity, wildfire, acts of God, adverse weather conditions that do not involve rain or snow, terrorism, Cyber Incident or Cyber Act, state property seizure, whether actual or perceived;    
  • failing to comply with any law of the land where Our services are rendered;  
  • any Booking originating from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Republic of South Sudan, or Syria;  
  • where exposed to any restriction (provision, sanction, law, prohibition) under the United States of America, and Our other operating countries, where Our services are rendered.
How to Apply for Reimbursement for Adverse Weather Conditions Involving Rain or Snow
Your Travel Protection reimbursement application and payment will be handled by Our Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service, who is the administrator of Our enhanced Terms and Conditions.
As soon as You know You cannot Attend the Booking, between 2 days prior to Your Arrival date and up to 30 days after Your Departure date, You can apply for a reimbursement.

To apply for a reimbursement, You click on the link provided in Your Booking confirmation email in which You agreed to all Our policies and these Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions. Fill out the reimbursement application forms.

Our Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service processes and reviews the reimbursement application, documentation, and evidence including a Picture or Screenshot of the Adverse Weather Event involving rain or snow, and then issues or denies the reimbursement to You. Reimbursements will be paid out using any of the following payment options including, but not limited to: credit card reimbursement, check, or direct ACH bank deposit.

Our Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions apply during a time window of 2 days before Your arrival date up to 30 days after Your departure date.

We DO NOT reimburse the Travel Protection Service Fee.

If Your Booking reimbursement request is before the time period of 2 days before Your Arrival date then You should contact Us to reschedule or refund Your money according to Our standard policies.

You may apply for Your reimbursement up to 30 days after Your Departure date. After 30 days past Your Departure date, You are no longer eligible for a reimbursement.
OUR TRAVEL PROTECTION REIMBURSEMENT PROCESS

Our Travel Protection Terms and Conditions for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Definitions
The following words and phrases have the meanings shown below whenever they appear emphasized in bold text in this document:

Arrival – The date You arrive, or were scheduled to arrive, at the destination and use the pre-booked space booked with Us by You.

Attend/Attending – Participate in, take part in, use, or be present at the destination.

Booking – The destination property where You scheduled Your stay with Us for a duration of time, made by phone or online.

Departure – The date You are to leave the destination of the pre-booked service(s) transacted with Us by You.

Immediate FamilyYour parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, spouse or partner, children, and stepfamily. Animals and pets are included if they live with You at Your main residence.

National Weather Service (using NOAA) – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service is the tool We use to verify the amount of rain, snow and other weather conditions.

Pictures or Screen Captures
 – A photo or screenshot taken on your smart phone or other device with a camera.

We/Us/Our
– We are the Booking agent with whom You made the Booking.

Worry-Free Bookings™ Limited Warranty Reimbursement Administration Service – In this instance, the organization who has the legal responsibility to assess and pay a reimbursement for the failure of the service, against whom You have a right of reimbursement.

You/Your/Yourself – A person who has made a Booking with Us, whether alone or as part of a travel group or travel party.

IMPORTANT: Any translation of this document from English is for assistance and information only. If a reimbursement claim is requested the English language version shall be the basis of settlement. All aspects of this document are subject to US law and the jurisdiction of the US courts.

Our Travel Protection for Adverse Weather Involving Rain or Snow Terms and Conditions facilitated by Worry-Free Bookings™ is not an insurance policy. It is a reimbursement service You purchase to upgrade Our existing policies to include the additional Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.
